It’s not character assassination for him to give it up for Arya because it’s a whole lotta nothing that he doesn’t have a single clue what to do with. If keeping it means he loses her, then he’ll pick her.

the more and more i think about it, i feel like arya and gendry will rule westeros

i feel like that quote from Davos in 8x01 about westeros being ruled by “a just woman and honorable man”… was about them

because they aren’t as closely tied to the causes of Robert’s Rebellion and King Aerys as Jon, Danereys, and Tyrion are… and i don’t think they could be the new beginning westeros needs. it wouldn’t “break the wheel” if any of them get it 

arya/gendry could be and I hope at least will be
